ON EID DAY, 14 ARREST REPORTED IN OCCUPIED JERUSALEM

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Israeli forces arrested Thursday 14 Jerusalemites, including one of al-Aqsa mosque’s guards, during clashes with Israeli police at the entrances to the compound.
Al-Aqsa Mosque’s Guard Hamza Nimer was arrested and taken to Beit Yahu police station after being arrested during confrontations with Israeli police who imposed tight restrictions on Muslims’ access into the holy shrine on the first day of Eid al-Adha, PIC reported.
Along the same line, 13 Jerusalemites were detained over night during clashes that broke out in occupied Jerusalem’s Old City after Israeli police suppressed a peaceful march in defense of al-Aqsa.
