ENEMIES NOT SAFE AS LONG AS RESISTANCE EXISTS : HEZBOLLAH CHIEF

Hezbollah Secretary-General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah delivers a speech on October 18, 2015.
Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah has hailed the sacrifices of resistance fighters, saying enemies cannot feel safe as long as the resistance front is alive.

In his Sunday speech, Nasrallah said the resistance front has gained many victories through the sacrifices made by its courageous fighters, adding that the movement will continue despite the martyrdom of its commanders in the battlefield against terrorists.

He made the remarks in an address to a ceremony held in southern Lebanon to commemorate the martyrdom of Hezbollah commander Hassan al-Hajj, known as Abu Mohammad, who lost his life in the battle against the Takfiri groups in Syria.

Touching on the tensions in the Israeli-occupied Palestinian lands and the new wave of Israeli violence there, the Hezbollah chief called on all sides to stand by the oppressed Palestinian nation in its Intifada against the occupying regime of Tel Aviv.

Noting that resistance is the only way to end Israeli occupation of Palestine, Nasrallah said the new generation of Palestine believes in resistance, dignity, and al-Aqsa mosque, and can fight tanks and soldiers with knives.

He pointed to the “Takfiri project” in the Middle East, saying were it not for the steadfastness of resistance fighters on the battlefield against Daesh and other extremist groups, the situation of this region would be even worse.

Referring to the Saudi aggression against Yemen, the Hezbollah chief stated that if Saudis manage to break the resistance of the Arab nation, al-Qaeda and Takfiri elements will be able to step up their terror activities there.

The resistance front is determined to fulfill its responsibility and pursue the fight against Takfiri terrorism to defend all Muslims and human values in general, he added.

Commenting on the power vacuum in Lebanon, Nasrallah stressed that the resistance movement has always responded positively to any call for dialogue by the Lebanese government, adding that Hezbollah seeks to preserve the current administration, and is not after its own interests.

Hezbollah supports unity and dialogue among all the Lebanese groups, emphasized Nasrallah.
