HEZBOLLAH, SYRIAN FORCES KILL ISIS TERRORIST WANTED FOR BEIRUT BOMBINGS

The Syrian army and forces from Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah have killed an individual involved in the November 12 attack carried out by the Takfiri Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorist group in southern Beirut, a report says.

The person responsible for transporting the two bombers who detonated their explosives in the crowded Borj al-Barajneh neighborhood of Beirut earlier this month was killed in the operation, the Lebanese al-Manar television said on Thursday, without giving further details.

At least 44 people were killed and some 240 others wounded after two large explosions claimed by Daesh rocked a security post in Hussaineya Street in Borj al-Barajneh earlier this month.

According to Lebanese officials, the terrorists initially planned to send five attackers to a hospital in the area but changed their plan due to heavy security presence.

Daesh terrorists have been committing gruesome crimes and terrorizing members of various communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds and Christians, mainly in Iraq and Syria.

The Lebanese army and Hezbollah fighters have carried out numerous operations against Daesh and another terrorist Takfiri group, al-Nusra Front, in the Lebanese town of Arsal on the Syrian border. Hezbollah has also been helping the Syrian government in its fight against terrorists in Syria, Press TV reported.
