SYRIAN ARMY KILLS TENS OF TERRORISTS IN DAMASCUS PROVINCE



The Syrian army backed by popular committees repelled a massive raid by the Takfiri terrorists on a Key city and killed dozens of terrorists in a new round of offensives in Damascus province on Monday.

The Syrian government forces repelled a large-scale attack by the Takfiri militants in Damascus countryside, leaving dozens of the terrorists dead over past 24 hours.

Syrian forces repelled the militants' attack at the Western front of the Darayya city behind Wahab Mosque, and killed scores of the Takfiri terrorists.

Meantime, the Syrian army killed and injured dozens of foreign-backed Takfiri militants in a new round of fierce clashes with the terrorists in Damascus province.

Informed sources said that the Syrian army troops engaged in a new round of fierce clashes with militants in Nouleh village in the Eastern Ghouta and Jobar in Damascus province, killing and injuring scores of Takfiri terrorists.

The militant groups' attack on a military checkpoint in Damascus countryside was fended off by the Syrian Army, local officials said on Monday, and added that 10 terrorists were killed in the failed assault.

The sources said that at least 10 terrorists were killed and many more were wounded in the militants' attempt to capture an army checkpoint in the farms near Marj al-Sultan village.

On Sunday, the Syrian Army and popular forces took back al-Arabiya neighborhood at the end of a series of joint operations in the Western and Southwestern countryside of Damascus and cut the main road to al-Mo'adhimiyah, used as supply route by the militant groups.

The Syrian army and National Defense Forces (NDF) took full control over al-Arabiya in al-Shayah district located on the main road to al-Mo'adhimiyah, and cut the militants' logistic route in the Western side of the capital Damascus.

The pro-government forces also destroyed Ajnad al-Sham's main headquarter along the Mo'adhimiyah-Darayya road, after killing and wounding scores of the terrorists; FNA reported.
