BLOOD-THIRSTY ISIS PREPARE TO USE ARMED DRONES IN VILE TERROR ATTACKS

ISIS is building armed drones in a bid to carry out more devastating terror attacks, according to military chiefs.

The blood-thirsty terrorists have used the unmanned machines to co-ordinate fighting in Syria and Iraq since declaring a caliphate in June 2014.

And several slick propaganda videos released by the terror group have been shot using video cameras attached to drones.

But now insiders have revealed the warped militants are in the "final stages" of testing armed variants to spark more carnage.

Earlier this week Iraqi militias are said to have spotted drones over the ISIS-held territories Fallujah and Haditha.

The aircraft were fitted with cameras and could cover at least 42 miles, intelligence sources said.

It is believed the drones are being developed in an industrial plants outside the Iraqi city of Mosul.

Last summer it was claimed ISIS terrorists are plotting to use drones to target major events such as football matches and music events in Britain.

A counter-terrorism official said: "They want the spectacular devastation of such a raid, which would cause murder and maiming in a crowd, while filming it for a sick video.

"ISIS is obsessed with re-creating the horror of 9/11 and believes this may be possible by launching a multi-drone attack on large numbers of people in a synchronised attack."

And earlier this month a report by the Oxford Research Group described drones as a "game changer in the wrong hands".

The document said the drones could be turned into "explosive devices" and used to attack David Cameron and foreign embassies.

Chris Abbott, lead author of the report, said: "The technology of remote-control warfare is impossible to control.", Express reported.
