TRIBAL GUNMEN KILLED 12 ISIS ELEMENTS SOUTH OF MOSUL


ISIS 12 elements were killed in clashes with a tribe that refused to join the terrorists south of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad), Kurdistan Democratic Party in Nineveh Province announced on Saturday.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Spokesman in Mosul Saeed Mamousini said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, armed clashes broke out between the ISIS elements and Jabour tribe after refusing to join ISIS on the outskirts of Qayyarah area south of Mosul,” pointing out that, “12 ISIS elements were killed and dozens were wounded during the clashes.”
Mamousini added, “ISIS fighters forced the youth of Qayyarah to join their forces.”
Noteworthy, ISIS took over the city of Mosul in Nineveh Province (405 km north of Baghdad) in the tenth of June 2014, while extended its terrorist activities to other areas of Iraq and committed many violations against humanity.
