ISIS, AL NUSRA TERRORISTS ESCAPE FROM HEZBOLLAH, SYRIAN ARMY IN BATTLEFIELDS EASTERN ALEPPO


The militant groups left behind dozens of their wounded members and fled the battlefields in the Eastern territories of Aleppo province after experiencing heavy defeat in battle against the Syrian army, popular forces and Hezbollah on Sunday, FNA reported.

The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces keeping on their advances against militants' defense lines in the Northern Province of Aleppo, engaged in a massive operation on Sunday clashing with the militant groups.

The fierce battle ended in driving the terrorists back from more battlefields in contested areas.

As militants came under the heavy attacks of the Syrian Army troops and popular forces. Reports said scores of militants were killed or wounded and their military hardware and vehicles also were destroyed.

Following repeated attacks by the army and its allies, the terrorists fled the battle scene, leaving their dead and wounded comrades.

Earlier in a significant development, the Syrian government forces' operations against the ISIS militants in the Eastern part of Aleppo province ended in the recapture of 31 villages and farms.

The ISIS militant group sustained more defeats in the heavy attacks of the Syrian Army and popular forces in the Eastern part of Aleppo and have withdrawn from 31 villages, farms and heights.

On Saturday, the Syrian army and its allies gained full control over several important towns and villages as well as a silo in Eastern Aleppo.

Scores of militants were killed and injured in heavy clashes with the Syrian government forces in Eastern Aleppo.
