A street bearing the name of the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group’s warlord, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in the Saudi capital Riyadh has made the news after Saudi citizens called for changing the street name.

A Saudi teacher, Ahmad al-Hakami, posted a comment on the official twitter account of Riyadh’s municipality, saying it was “better to change the street name” in a bid not to echo the name of the Daesh terrorist leader, Saudi online newspaper Sabq reported.

The municipality’s only response was that the proposal was referred to the relevant department. “It seems that it’s a mere name resemblance, but if you google the name, you only get to the notorious Daesh leader,” Hakami later told Sabq.
