An ISIS sniper has killed the army commander of the 30th Regiment in south of Falujah, A security source in Anbar province said on Saturday.
The source said in a brief statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The commander of the army’s 30th Regiment General Officer Zana Khalil had been killed by a sniper belonging to the ISIS in the area of Albu Daeg (23 km south of Fallujah,” pointing out that, “A security force transfered the body of the regiment’s commander to the forensic medicine authority.”
“The area of Albu Daeg is controlled by the army and police,” the source also added.
