RIYADH HITS YEMEN AS YEMENIS AGREE ON PEACE TALKS.

Saudi Arabia has bombarded several areas across Yemen, as the United Nations says Yemeni parties have agreed to hold peace talks to end the conflict in the impoverished Arab country.

Saudi warplanes targeted several areas in and around the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, late on Thursday, Press TV reported.

Reports say that in one of the airstrikes on the capital, the Saudi fighters hit the Yemeni military camp of al-Hafa. The force of the explosion caused by the airstrike discharged rockets and other weapons from the military camp toward a nearby neighborhood.

There has been no report of possible casualties in the airstrike.

The Saudi fighter jets also bombarded several areas in the southwestern province of Bayda. In one of the attacks, the Saudi jets targeted three fuel trucks in the district of Sawadiyah.

The Saudi warplanes targeted the headquarters of security forces in the southwestern province of Ibb and hit the presidential palace in Ta'izz Province.
