Warplanes of a Saudi-led alliance struck a hotel in the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Tuesday killing at least 20 people, most of them civilians, medical officials and local officials said. They identified the hotel as The Marina in Sanaa's southern al-Asbahi district but gave no further immediate details; Reuters reported.
Saudi Arabia began its aggression against Yemen on March 26 – without a UN mandate – in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a staunch ally of Riyadh.
The conflict has reportedly left more than 6100 dead and thousand of others wounded
