TEHRAN (FNA)- Takfiri militants launched a mortar attack on Harasta Suburb, Damascus Countryside, killing a Syrian reporter on Tuesday.
Batoul Moukhlis al-Warar, a presenter for Syria's Nour al-Sham TV and Damascus Radio, was killed by mortar fire as she was going to work.
Reports also said that a number of others were also wounded in the mortar attack.
Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 240,000 people, according to reports.
