Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Lebanon's resistance movement Hezbollah, has reiterated that the Israeli regime will never be able to stop the Palestinian uprising.
He gave an address to the Lebanese people on November 11, which the nation marks as the Day of Martyr.
The Hezbollah secretary general commented on the issue of the recent wave of Israeli aggression against Palestinians.
The Tel Aviv regime, Nasrallah said, will not be able to stop the Palestinian uprising as long as they remain united and maintain courage in the face Israel.
In August, the Israeli regime imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinians into the al-Aqsa Mosque. That and the fact that Palestinians are also furious at violence exercised by Israeli settlers triggered the latest flame of turmoil in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The tensions intensified in early October, and about 80 Palestinians have been killed by Israelis ever since.
The United States has always adopted a firm stance regarding Israel, the Hezbollah leader said, adding that the Americans are not ashamed of supporting Tel Aviv.
The aggression carried out by Israelis against Palestinians, the “unarmed oppressed people” of Palestine, go unnoticed by Washington, Nasrallah stated.
Regarding the regional developments, Hezbollah stands on the right side of history, Nasrallah said.
He also stated that the Lebanese resistance movement plays an influential role in the region.
Nasrallah said Lebanon stands immune to the threat of Takfiri terrorists thanks to the sacrifice and achievements made by the resistance movement and the armed forces.
Battle in Syria, Iraq and Yemen
Nasrallah said the steadfastness on the ground proves that the battle will not end in the favor of those who are operating against the will of nations in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
The fighting spirit of the army and the volunteer forces in those countries brings a clear message to the enemies that the people of Syria, Iraq and Yemen will not relent in their determination to rid their countries of terrorists, the Hezbollah secretary general said.
In Syria, he said, the US and its allies should accept a political settlement of the crisis without any preconditions.
More than 250,000 have been killed and hundreds of thousands displaced as a result of the crisis in Syria since March 2011.
